Abrams, Dennis M.

The Senior Trial Partner with Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C., Dennis focuses his practice on medical malpractice litigation. He also handles cases involving nursing home abuse and negligence, auto accidents and premises liability.He is located in the Bala Cynwyd office, outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also practices in New Jersey and is licensed in California, West Virginia and Washington DC.

Prior to joining the firm, Dennis served under Pennsylvania Attorney General Dick Thornburgh. Before working with Thornburgh, he was a Deputy Attorney General in West Virginia.

Pro bono activities are very important to Dennis. As a result, after winning a 13 million dollar verdict in a medical malpractice case, he co-founded the Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia. The clinic provides free legal advice to people in the 55th street area of Philadelphia

Dennis' law degree is from the West Virginia College of Law, where he was a member of both Law Review and Moot Court.  Dennis has been elected to Superlawyers three times, including in 2013. He has also been named to Top Lawyers for Medical Malpractice by Main Line Today.
