Jeff S. Abers was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He received his B.A. from Florida State University in 1977, and his juris doctorate from the University of Miami in 1980. Mr. Abers joined the firm in 1981, and has since tried in excess of 150 jury trials. Mr. Abers is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Florida Bar, Trial Lawyers Section, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Abers’ exceptional trial skills have been recognized on a national level. He is AV-rated – a "preeminent attorney" – by Martindale-Hubbell, a nationally recognized rating service for attorneys. He has also been selected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”), and is the President of ABOTA’s Ft. Lauderdale chapter.
Mr. Abers concentrates in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and drug litigation.
